Macdonald Windsor Hotel selected selected for Signature Collection

The four star Macdonald Windsor Hotel, Berkshire has been selected by Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, the UKs largest privately owned hotel operator, as one of 11 hotels to join their newly launched Signature Collection. This reflects the hotels continued commitment to provide guests with the highest industry standards of product and service delivery.

The launch of The Macdonald Hotels Signature Collection comes just weeks after Macdonald Hotels & Resorts reported an operating profit, for the year ending 29 March 2012, before interest of 13.7m, an increase of 3% on the previous like for like year.

Described as the Jewel in Windsors Crown, the 120-bedroom Macdonald Windsor is a contemporary townhouse hotel with stunning, plush interiors by designer Amanda Rosa. Mainly new build behind an attractive Georgian faade, the luxurious hotel is set opposite the historic Guildhall and two minutes walk from the Castle in the heart of Berkshires Royal town. Caleys Lounge, the hotels stylish, informal restaurant and bar has been awarded an AA rosette for its excellent cuisine and service.

These factors, and the personalised service and fine attention to detail promised to guests throughout their stay, ensured the Macdonald Windsor Hotel was selected as one of the groups leading 4-star hotels to proudly bear The Macdonald Hotels Signature Collection status.
