Rock n Roll Dancing to Fox River Conspiracy 13th November 2010

Fox River Conspiracy have been taking the Rockabilly circuit by storm, performing high energy classic rock n roll music from the 1950s and 1960s and this time, theyll be rockin the joint in aid of the restoration of the historic St Giles Church Bells. Covering iconic songs by the likes of Billy Fury, Eddie Cochrane, Carl Perkins and Gene Vincent, this will be a night to remember with doors opening at 7.30pm and dancing from 8.00pm till late.. Couples and singles welcome.

I Saw Three Ships and Other Carols - with the Manor House String Quartet Friday 10th December

Step into the tiny village church of St Giles in Cheddington and join the Manor House String Quartet for an evening of festive music. Profits go towards the Cherish Your Church campaign and St Giles Church Bell Restoration Appeal. Tickets are 10 or 7 concessions, available from 01296 660427. The programme will include a selection of well loved carols and Christmas music, beautifully arranged for string quartet. Refreshments will be served in the interval and there are toilet facilities in the church. As this is usually a sell out event, it is advisable to telephone and reserve tickets beforehand.

Doors open 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start

I Saw Three Ships and Other Carols - with the Manor House String Quartet Friday 17th December

Step into the historic church of St Marys Haddenham, and join the Manor House String Quartet for one of their popular themed concerts - this time presenting an enjoyable selection of well loved Christmas music and beautifully arranged carols. Pieces performed will include the Holly and the Ivy, Corelli Christmas Concerto, I Saw Three Ships, We Three Kings of Orient Are, the First Nowell and In Dulci Jubilo - among many others.

Starting at 7.30pm. Tickets will be 10 (full) or 8 (concessions) and available by calling Vaughan on 07870 171194 or 01296 663744. Tickets will be available on the door if remaining, but it is advisable to call and reserve in advance.
