Award-winning comedy

Patrick Barlow’s adapted comedy version of the classic Hitchcock thriller The 39 Steps is now on tour after nine years in the West End. Just four actors take on 139 roles in 100 minutes of fun. See it at Wycombe’s Swan Theatre from 30 May to 4 June.

Enjoy art in Amersham

The Chiltern Painters Art Group have recently produced a fine book illustrated in full colour of the Group’s almost 50 year history, with a forward written by Val Doonican, who was a member, just before he died. Limited numbers of the book will be on sale at an exhibition of their work at the Market Hall, Old Amersham from 5 to 8 May.

Entry is free of charge and the exhibition is open to the public from 2 to 5pm on Thursday 6 May, and then from 10.30am to 6pm on the following three days.
