It’s the “have a go” show! This year’s Royal County of Berkshire Show on 20 and 21 September is lining up a raft of hands-on opportunities for those who like action on their day out.

Activities range from stunt biking to a blow-up assault course and from setting up an allotment to 4x4 Land Rover training. There will also be new opportunities for children to get up close with animals and see chicks hatch live.

Popular demand sees the return of the hilarious dancing ‘Sheep Show’ along with a host of established favourites like heavy horses, country area displays and show jumping. Amongst the impressive cattle will be the Dexters national championships. All this in a 150-acre tented village that provides a unique opportunity to shop for everything from amazing crafts to sumptuous foods.

But most thrilling of all may be the main ring highlight. Fresh from success on TV’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, The Honda Bolddog Lings will be wowing the crowds on both days with their daredevil motorcycle acrobatics. More information and tickets from
