The Copas family have been producing luxury Christmas Turkeys since 1957 and supply many of Britain’s best independent butchers, farm shops, delis and food halls across the UK.

Copas Traditional Turkeys live their long, healthy, and happy lives in Cookham, Berkshire - mere minutes from the River Thames on the home farm of the Copas family. They roam freely around the cherry orchards under the watchful eyes of turkey dogs Kez & Pip. They eat only the best food, fed to them by the on-site Farm Manager, Steve Hellings, who has been looking after Copas turkeys for the past 15 years.

They believe that life should be lived to the highest standards, so ensure their Turkeys start their lives in warm barns listening to classic tunes on Radio 2 before being released into the cherry orchards of the Copas family farm, where they roam naturally until full adult maturity.

Whilst Copas Turkeys are some of the happiest around, it is the artisan methods of production used that produces the dense, succulent meat full of traditional flavour. These production methods include hand-plucking and game-hanging the birds for up to two weeks, allowing the meat to mellow and develop the delicious Copas quality and taste for which they are known.

Although Copas Turkeys are exquisitely sumptuous, they are exceptionally easy to cook, complete with clear cooking instructions, a pop-up timer and a sprig of rosemary.
