Michelin Star Magic at Cliveden. Exclusive Dining Event 27th and 28th October
No less than three Michelin Star chefs will be cooking an exclusive lunch and dinner at Cliveden at the end of October as von Essen celebrates becoming the collection of hotels with the most Michelin starred properties in the UK. Nigel Mendham from The Samling and Mark Teasdale from Sharrow Bay, both in Cumbria, will cook together with Shane Hughes, from Ynyshir Hall in Wales, to give diners one of the culinary experiences of the year. The chefs have created a special tasting dinner to be served at Cliveden on Wednesday 27thOctober and a three course tasting lunch menu on Thursday 28thOctober, which feature a selection of each chefs signature dishes.
Although each chef shares the philosophy of using the finest locally sourced produce, they each have their own distinctive style which will produce a rare and exciting collaboration.
Cloudy Bay wines will be expertly paired with each dish to produce a culinary marriage made in heaven. Each of the meals will be accompanied by a selection of the vintages, as well as a talk from a Cloudy Bay expert.
