Vanilla Chantilly Cream

Chantilly is a vanilla-flavoured whipped cream and is a perfect accompaniment to neat strawberries, or as a filling for a light Victoria sponge decorated with plump, oozing British Strawberries and filled with home-made strawberry jam. And for that extra special occasion you can round it off with a dash of your favourite liqueur.

300ml thickened cream

2 tablespoons icing sugar

2 teaspoons Taylor and Colledge Natural Vanilla Extract

Optional: dash of favourite liquor (Limoncello, Tia Maria or Cointreau work well)

Whip cream, icing sugar and Taylor and Colledge Natural Vanilla Extract until thick and smooth. Place a dollop of Chantilly Cream on fresh strawberries and serve with a chilled glass of champagne for special occasions.
