Our readers share with you the news of great restaurants, pubs, cafes and farm shops

Nelson Street Cafe Restaurant Bar, Buckingham

We are glad we got in here for lunch during a visit to relatives – it’s definitely more of a restaurant than a café, and the prices reflect this. The food is really top class and later we found out the chef is Louis Myhill, who once worked at The Ivy. You can tell.

Jenny McDermott, Aylesbury

Tin Kitchen, High Wycombe

Finally got a chance to eat here with friends after reading about it in this magazine and then the national press. If you can get in for brunch, do so. It’s on the outskirts of town, turn left off Hatters Lane, but a real find. Find them on Facebook for better directions.

Wholesome, free range foods with lots of changing specials.

Alison Smithers, Beaconsfield

Dorney Court Kitchen Garden

If you want to treat yourself to a traditional cream tea, then I would definitely recommend Dorney Court Kitchen Garden. The scones are delicious and made daily by one of the chefs. A tranquil, hidden gem on our doorstep.
