The Duke of Edinburgh

Half a mile from Ascot racecourse and close to Windsor Great Park, both very popular with dog walkers, the Duke of Edinburgh run by Nick and Annie since 1998 welcomes dogs in the bar and garden. The 200 year old pub has low beams and a cosy atmosphere. It offers an extensive a la carte menu including vegetarian options and does a good Sunday roast.

The Jolly Farmer

A gastropub in beautiful countryside. It has been owned by the village since 1987 after residents joined forces to buy the freehold to save it from property developers. There is a large garden with fenced off play area for children. The menu includes traditional dishes and sharing platters, and there is a kids’ menu.

The Belvedere Arms

A perfect place to stop for lunch after a walk around Virginia Water Lake, the Belvedere Arms welcomes dogs in the bar area which has traditional features but a clean, modern look with cosy corners and comfy armchairs.
