Originally a market village, Bracknell has grown to become one of Berkshire’s largest towns, and it’s home to some lovely pubs and restaurants to enjoy a meal out (or in)

Next to The Lexicon, Bill's in Bracknell is a perfect place to sit down for a meal after a peruse of the shops. The dinner menu at the time of writing includes marinated chicken skewers, green curry, fish pie and more. They also offer extensive breakfast and lunch menus.

Blue's Smokehouse

Describing themselves as 'the home of mighty fine dining', Blue's Smokehouse boast a menu packed with American favourites, from burgers to southern specials. Feeling hungry? Why not try 'The Challenge'? Devour a full rack of spare ribs, pulled pork, chicken, sliced brisket, burnt ends and sausages and you can have your name on the wall along with a t-shirt to take home.

The Yorkshire Rose

Just up the road in Warfield is The Yorkshire Rose restaurant and bar. With quality Mediterranean and British cuisine on offer, this establishment is often described as a bit of a hidden gem. They also do a special roast menu on Sundays.

The East Asia Company

Now, we must say this isn't a restaurant, but we simply couldn't write a feature about food in Bracknell and miss out The East Asia Company. One of the top takeaways in town, enjoy cuisine from India, Thailand and Japan at a very reasonable price.

Burrito & Tequila

Another takeaway, but another company serving up delicious food, Burrito & Tequila offer Mexican food for delivery and collection. Expect tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos and plenty of sides.

Green's Steakhouse

If steak is your meal of choice, then head to Green's on the High Street. All steaks (featherblade, sirloin, rib eye, fillet and the selection of chef's cuts) are served with French or steak fries, cherry tomatoes and slow roasted garlic. The menu also includes a number of rib and fish dishes.

The Cricketers

Up in the village of Warfield is the delightful Cricketers pub whose main menu includes sweet potato & coconut curry, double British beef burger, tiger prawn linguine and some vegan dishes too. Be sure to save room for dessert!
