Jack Brunsdon & Son: The heritage behind the brand

PUBLISHED: 09:23 28 April 2017

Archant

Jack Brunsdon was a master craftsman with a passion for making things from wood.

More than 50 years of craftsmanship and experience

He turned his hand to many varied forms of joinery, including deck chairs, toboggans and even the rear timber body work of the Morris Traveller estate motor car before finally settling on the crafting of high quality windows and doors. His exacting legacy continues today.

A proud reputation

Established in 1964, Jack Brunsdon & Son prides itself on its beautiful hand-made, bespoke windows and doors, which have been lovingly designed to enhance the architectural integrity and value of any home. The Jack Brunsdon & Son reputation is founded on three core values – heritage, craftsmanship and quality. It’s a proud reputation which the firm has built on over the past five decades. And it offers a 10-year workmanship guarantee on every installation of handcrafted windows and doors as well as further market-leading guarantees on everything, from paint to hardware and ironmongery.

Bespoke

The company’s remarkable range of artisan-crafted wooden windows, produced using only the finest materials and finishes, caters for every character and style of property. There are intelligent solutions for just about any configuration and size of door or window. Innovative hinges that can support significant weight means that large heavy sashes are no longer a problem. Jack Brunsdon & Son has clever designs that optimise the amount of light that enters the room, along with a high range of styles, patterns and colours to choose from. Common throughout the range is the attention to detail, with slender rails and slim glazing bars and an extensive range of ironmongery and glazing. The collection of bespoke wooden doors, crafted in hardwood, softwood or traditional oak, can be finished in virtually any colour possible, including matching paint shades from Farrow & Ball. Options include front doors, French doors, stable doors, bi-fold doors and patio doors.
