If you’ve missed going to the cinema over the past few months, then boy, do we have a treat or two in store for you. Get your popcorn at the ready as we’ve brought you a round-up of the best open-air big screen Berkshire movie nights this summer.

Looking to make some last-minute weekend plans? Then book to watch The King’s Speech on the big screen at The Coppa Club at The Swan at Streatley. Tickets include your cinema ticket, a barbecue main and side and a glass of Piper-Heidsieck champagne. Coppa Club deckchairs will be free to use and will be spaced out on the lawn, but you are welcome to bring your own blankets and chairs if you prefer.

The Drive-In Cinema Club brings their open-air movie experience to Ascot from 31 July to 13 August. Expect to see timeless classics, thrillers, comedies and children’s movies.

On the weekend of 1 and 2 August, Shaw House in Newbury is opening its grounds for a Summer Screens open-air showing of Dirty Dancing and 1917. Book a deckchair or gazebo and enjoy watching the movie under the stars.

Pack your own picnic and make your way to the glorious Dinton Pastures in Wokingham for a night to remember. Films showing include The Greatest Showman on 1 August, Dirty Dancing on 15 August, Bohemian Rhapsody on 22 August and Toy Story on 29 August.

Wasing Park

Join the Star & Mouse at the beautiful Wasing Park for a drive-in experience of the screening of Rocketman on 1 October. You can look forward to DJ sets, car bingo, quizzes, live music and food and drinks. What’s not to love?
