Celebrated work performed in free Marlow concert

Two of The Chiltern Camerata’s musicians, Geraldine and Jeremy Rowe, together with organist Clem Virgo, are performing Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater at 4.30pm on Sunday, 23 March at St Peter’s RC Church, Marlow SL7 1NQ. Entrance is free, there will be a retiring collection for Myeloma UK.

The celebrated work was composed by Pergolesi in the last weeks of his life in 1736.

The Chiltern Camerata is an essentially amateur string orchestra which includes music professionals performing a wide range of music, often providing an opportunity for soloists to perform with an orchestra.
