New women's networking organisation – that welcomes men – launches 20 September

Fabulous Women the new womens networking organisation that welcomes men is launching a new group in Ascot on Thursday 20 September at The Windmill, Windlesham, led by Astrid Lowe and Tacy Singleterry. The aim of Fabulous Women is to inspire, motive and inform women (and men) in life and business.

Speakers at the event will be: Paullette Schwartz, founder of the Fabulous Women network, who will be talking on Top Tips For Building A Great Web Site and Alizon Jones, business coach and mentor, on time management - How to get the important things done.

The Windmill, which dates back to 1892, is a modern and contemporary venue - the perfect setting for this inaugural event.

The meeting will be led by Astrid Lowe, who runs Akana Holistic Therapies(www.akana.co.uk) and Tacy Singleterry certified wellness coach(www.tacysingleterry.com).

Astrid says: As small business owners ourselves, Tacy and I know how challenging it can be to run a business. Fabulous Women is here both to support womens businesses and help them grow as individuals. We all take our lives and what we care about as seriously as we take our businesses.

The meeting, held from 9.30am to 11.30am on the third Thursday of every month, is a mix of informal mingling and formal 'round table', aimed at both the new-at-networking and the experienced networker. It will include a round of 60-second elevator pitches about participants business, as well as two 15 minute talks, one on a life topic and one on a business topic. Tacy says: We know how busy businesswomen are, so you can choose whether to network for one hour or two.Women who attend our meetings dont network, they netwin. Were the only networking group connecting businesses and women more generally. We are keen to promote the concept that all women are fabulous. We look forward to welcoming local businesswomen and men to our inaugural meeting on 20 September.

Fabulous Women, a not-for-profit organisation, has been started by local entrepreneur Paullette Schwarz. Groups are growing rapidly - there are already nine, including Esher, Guildford, Walton and Woking.
