Santa’s grotto/Christmas events

Oaktree Garden Centre & Nursery

Where: Brock Hill, Bracknell Road, Warfield, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG42 6LH.

When: Up until and including Tuesday December 24 (booking essential).

Info from website: Christmas at Oaktree Garden Centre near Bracknell is a very special time for all. Come and see the amazing Christmas Wonderland, a lit avenue of trees with Christmas scenes and snow machines. Say hello to Santa’s Reindeer who will be dropping in most weekends during December leading up to Christmas.

Odds Farm Park

Where: Wooburn Common, Wooburn Common Road, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP10 0LX; 01626 520188.

When: every weekend and finishing on Monday December 23 and Tuesday December 24.

Info from website: Children can visit Santa in his special grotto and receive a Top Toy for Christmas. They can also choose a Free Chocolate Treat from our Christmas tree in the Gift Shop! And don’t forget they’ll be plenty of Madness and Mayhem with our Festive Entertainers!

Bucklebury Farm Park

When: 11am to 2pm on weekdays and 11am to 4pm on weekends up until and including Monday December 23.

Info from website: Santa is dropping in daily to see our young visitors and this year his grotto is handily placed next door to his reindeer who enjoying being fed ready for their busy delivery schedule!

Buckinghamshire Railway Centre

Where: Quainton Road Station, Quainton (near Aylesbury), Buckinghamshire, HP22 4BY.

When: Saturday December 14, Sunday December 15, Saturday December 21 and Sunday December 22 (see website for timings).

Info from website: You will be shown to your reserved seats on the steam train where you will be joined by Santa himself. One of Santa’s pixie helpers will pull your gifts from the huge toy sack and the magic begins!

Sleeping Beauty

Where: Waterside Theatre, Exchange St, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP20 1UG.

When: Between Friday December 13 and Sunday January 5.

Who: Starring Anita Dobson (Angie Watts in EastEnders) as the Wicked Fairy Carabosse, Aylesbury’s own comedian Andy Collins plays the jester and singer-songwriter Holly Brewer has the role of Sleeping Beauty.

Snow White

When: Running between Friday December 13 and Saturday January 4.

Who: The fantastic creative team behind many of South Hill Park’s pantomimes is back this year to bring a brand spanking new version of Snow White to the Wilde Theatre stage.
