Newbury shopping centre’s Summer Series starts on Saturday 5 July

Parkway Shopping Centre will be transformed as it kicks off its month of events and entertainment, starting with the hugely popular Parkway street party.

Visitors to Parkway will be able to marvel at the incredible Black Eagles, an acrobatic troupe that performs daring and exciting stunts, as well as an incredible range of entertainers including Covent Garden street performers, stilt walkers, face painters and children’s entertainers.

There will also be live performances from local musicians Emma Lawrence and Aaron Norton on the main stage located on Parkway’s Middle Street. Both Emma and Aaron are rising stars of the music world and have performed to much acclaim on BBC Radio 2 and even sung at Glastonbury. They will be playing all your favourite songs as well as taking special requests and dedicating songs to shoppers throughout the day.

Saturday 19 July - Parkway will host a day of classical music where shoppers will be able to indulge in the melodic tunes of one of Britain’s most celebrated all girl string quartets – Stringmania.

Saturday 26 July - to close the ‘Summer Series’ Barclays will host their annual Summer fête at Parkway, but this time with an historical twist.
