The Reading Summer Proms continue with more fantastic events
On Tuesdays at 1.10pm up to 1 July, Music @ Reading University presents a series of ‘pop-up’ style concerts, bringing music to all of their campuses. Featuring a diverse mix of magnificent music from students and visiting professionals, the
University of Reading’s Lunchtime Concerts are free, and all are welcome. On Tuesday 20 May the performers will be University of Reading Music Scholars, popping up at National Grid Conference Room, Greenlands campus in Henley-on-Thames.
And on Tuesday 27 May, come and be dazzled by the thrilling sounds of local brass quintet, Chiltern Brass. See www.facebook.com/ChilternBrass. This concert takes place in half-term and children are very welcome. Popping up at Van Emden Theatre, HumSS Building, Whiteknights campus.

While the sun is shining, why not make the most of it and relax and enjoy some wonderful live music in the beautiful surroundings of the Forbury Gardens. The Forbury Bandstand Concert Season runs on Sundays throughout the proms, and continues into July & August. On Sunday 2nd June from 3pm – 4.30pm, you can listen to the The Small Strings. This is a FREE event.
