In a brand new interpretation of Ruddygore, East Berkshire Operatic Society will once again be blowing the dust and the cobwebs off Gilbert’s sparkling lyrics and witty dialogue and Sullivan’s stylish, poignant and dramatic music.

Directed by the same team as our award winning ‘The Gondoliers’ in 2012, lavish costumes, stunning dance routines and amazing special effect will all combine to retell the story of the Bad Baronets of Ruddygore, and the girls who fall in love with them.

The Baronets have, for the last 300 years, been forced, by a witch’s curse, to commit a crime every single day of their lives or die in horrible agonies. To escape the curse and to enable him to marry the girl of his dreams, the current Baronet runs away in disguise with fateful consequences for himself, his family and the theatre-going public! You have been warned!
