The summer line-up has been announced and there's something for everyone

Its hotting up at Milton Keynes Theatre for the best summer season yet, full of dance, drama, comedy and musical theatre.

Winner of seven major awards including the coveted Best Musical 2011 (Olivier Awards) Broadway & West End sensation Legally Blonde , the all-singing, all-dancing romantic comedy based on the hit movie of the same name is guaranteed to be the best show in town, case closed! There are more musical movie based treats with Sister Act starring Coronation Streets Denise Black and Brookside favourite Michael Starke. A fabulous, family-friendly, feel-good show packed with songs inspired by Motown and the funniest and funkiest nun on the run! And finally something to really razzle dazzle you with Chicago, the international award winning musical with the unforgettable sassy score telling the story of murder, greed, corruption, exploitation, adultery and treachery - all those things we hold near and dear to our hearts!

Enjoy a classic whodunnit from the Agatha Christie Theatre Company now in its seventh thrilling year, with a stylish new production of the queen of crimes classic thriller Murder on the Nile, with an all-star cast including Kate OMara, Susie Amy and Mark Wynter. Dont forget your hanky for the heart-warming and bittersweet comedy, Steel Magnolias - the funniest play ever to make you cry, that celebrates the strength and value of friendship, humour, and love in the midst of lifes greatest hardships, with cast including Kacey Ainsworth, Isla Blair, Cheryl Campbell, Cherie Lunghi, Sadie Pickering and Denise Welch.
