Snowdrop season offers up some incredible sights, especially here in Berkshire at sites such as Basildon Park and Cliveden

One of the first signs of life at Cliveden in the early winter are the snowdrops (with them on show this year from early January) and you can enjoy them via the specially designed walking route through the gardens.

Basildon Park

It's already a great place for a winter walk, with four marked-routes across the parkland, but Basildon Park near Reading becomes a fantastic snowdrop spotting location in the early months.

Welford Park

Open in 2019 from 29th January to 1st March, Welford Park is arguably one of the most stunning locations for snowdrops. Check the website for details on a number of events on during snowdrop season.

Snowdrop Festival

That National Garden Scheme is running its fifth annual Snowdrop Festival with gardens open across the country. Click here to find out which gardens are open in Berkshire.
