Take your date on the snowdrop walk around the Beech Woods at Welford Park and enjoy the amazing sight and scent of the carpet of snowdrops. Woo Them With Words at a Poetry Slam
Impress your date − and the judges − in this poetry competition. Competing poets have three minutes to deliver one poem in each round. The ‘Dreading Slam’ is free to take part in, and free to watch. It takes place at The Global Café, in the RISC building, 35-39 London Street, Reading, RG1 4PS. Slam events take place on the first Sunday of each month; starting at 7:30pm.
