Although Berkshire’s usually jam-packed Halloween events schedule has been diminished this year, there’s still a fair few things going on to keep the kids entertained throughout the October half term

All events are subject to cancellation at short notice so please check all links before you make your visit.

Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort - October 15 - November 8

“This October Half Term, Lord Vampyre invites you to Brick or Treat at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort for the most spook-tacular time of the year, Halloween!”

Halloween Half Term at Beale Wildlife Park - October 24 - November 1

“In October half term there is free entry for a child fully dressed up for Halloween (if accompanied by a full paying adult). There will be a Halloween trail, make and take activities and the Park will be dressed for the spooky season.”


Run for Halloween in Reading - November 1

Run for Halloween is a celebration of fitness, fun, fancy dress and wellbeing. Participants of all ages and abilities can enjoy the benefits of exercise with the comforting reward of a medal and bag of treats at the finish.


Batty Bats Craft Pack from West Berkshire Museum - October 28 - 31

“Drop in to West Berkshire Museum to purchase your Batty Bats craft pack. The craft pack costs £2 and includes printed instructions on how to make a 3D bat hanging decoration, as well as most of the materials you will need to make it.”


Spooky Sing Along Concertini with Mairi Cowieson and Rob Castell - October 31

“Including songs from The Rocky Horror Picture Show and The Little Shop of Horrors all performed by West End singer Mairi Cowieson and CBBC singer songwriter Rob Castell.” (An online event)


The Great Virtual Bake Off with National Animal Welfare Trust Berkshire - October 8

“This year National Animal Welfare Trust Berkshire are hosting The Great Virtual Bake Off – Halloween Edition! From the 8th of October you will be able to send in pictures of your chosen bake to be judged and in for the chance of winning a fantastic selection of prizes!”


Half Term Trails at Berkshire’s National Trust sites - Various dates

Get on your best fancy dress and head out into the parkland of Berkshire’s many stunning National Trust sites. You may have to use your imagination a little more than previous years but there’s still lots of spooky atmosphere to be found.
