No experience necessary, just try Sing-A-Long-For-Fun

Sing-A-Long-For-Fun is a new and exciting feel good choir that is coming soon to Thatcham. This new venture is hosted by two leading West End performers, Jayne O'Mahony and Nik Stoter, whose impressive CVs will ensure the vocal group are treated to their wealth of experience and enthusiasm.

Jayne began her career at the age of nine where she created the role of young Cosette in the original production of Les Miserables, she later returned to play the role of adult Cosette and is believed to be the only person world wide to hold this accolade. Jayne has also played the role of the Mistress in Evita alongside Marti Webb and more recently TV favourite John Barrowman. Jayne was also part of the Les Miserables 25th anniversary at the 02.

Nik has also performed on numerous occasions in the West End including Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat, The Sound of Music, Noah Claypole in Oliver! and more recently Nik played the lead role of Tony in Barry Manilows musical, Copacabana (national tour).

Jayne and Nik met three years ago performing as lead soloistsin concerts internationally. It was whilst performing together they both shared a vision of putting together a light-hearted vocal group where anyone with a love and passion for music could join together on a weekly basis and be part of this new and pleasurable experience. Together they will bring forth their expertise and share back stage stories that are sure to intrigue!

Over the weeks the group will perform songs from Les Miserables (of course!) Mama Mia, Evita, and Jesus Christ Superstar to name but a few. They will also perform Pop/Rock and Motown so be prepared to rock out!

The group is open to anyone over the age of 16. No previous experience is necessary (the only requirement is to have fun. Sing-A-Long-For-Fun starts on Tuesday, 18 September at 7pm til 8.30pm at The Old Bluecoat School, Thatcham. For further information visit or contact Jayne on 07920 851976.
