The Longhair Cream & Blue-Cream Cat Association has its 12th Championship Cat Show on Saturday, 3 March, in Twyford, Berkshire.

The Longhair Cream & Blue-Cream Cat Association will be hosting its 12th Championship Cat Show on Saturday, 3rd March, 2012 at 1st Twyford Scout Headquarters, Loddon Hall Road, Twyford with lots of absolutely stunning pedigree and household pets on show. It is running the show in conjunction with The White Persian Cat Club.

Both Clubs are only small, specialising in a select colours. They are a friendly bunch and exhibitors and the public always enjoy themselves on the day, looking at a variety of different coloured Persians and Exotics.

The breeds, which both clubs cater for, are very striking with their long, flowing beautifully coloured coats and their stunningly large, round copper eyes. Exotics have the same wonderful eyes and facial features as the Persians but have short coats. And in the case of the Whites, some will have blue eyes and some could even have one orange and one blue.

The show receives considerable interest from the local people and we very much look forward to welcoming old friends and newcomers alike. We hope that visitors to the show will enjoy seeing these beautiful pedigree exhibits and their no less beautiful and much cosseted non-pedigree counterparts, the Household Pets says Chairman, Kim Board-Allam who lives locally with her cats Monster, Cinders, Jaz, and new addition Trixie.

Exhibitors always enjoy talking to our visitors about their exhibit, showing and about cats in general. It is one of the things that make the show so friendly.

The aim of the Association is to encourage and promote a greater interest in the breeding, exhibiting and welfare of longhair cats, along with promoting a greater understanding of the care and needs of all cats.

The show is open to the public between 12.30 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. and entrance is: Adult 2., Senior Citizens 1, under-16s Free.
