Autumn and Winter at Cliveden

Autumn and Winter at Cliveden

All the family can get outdoors and enjoy the delights of Cliveden

Cliveden is a perfect location for a family walk. As well as the impressive formal gardens to explore and miles of woodland walks, the storybook themed play area will delight younger children and all ages will be challenged by the re-created Cliveden Maze.

October is the best month to experience glorious autumn leaf and berry colour and the acers in the Water Garden are one of Clivedens autumn stars. Golden yellows and burnished reds of Norway and Japanese maples mingle with the glorious amber, crimson and deep purple leaves of theliquidambar tree.

Clivedens coffee shop is open 7 days week until 23 December so you can treat yourself to a warming coffee or hot chocolate after your walk and the Orangery caf will be serving hearty hot lunches at weekends.

And dont forget, Cliveden is open between Christmas and New Year - the gardens will be open from 27 to 31 December, 10am - 4pm.
