Chic cars for women only
Car dealers might be struggling to sell cars but a couple of entrepreneurs in Henley have come up with an interesting angle - focussing on female buyers.
Chic Car Consultants, an independent car finding service, launched by Charlie Lambert and Dan Thomson, aims to put customers before stock. "We offer an impartial service to help our customers narrow down the thousands of options out there by listening to what they need," say the duo.
Charlie says he came up with the idea because he used to hear from his mother and her friends about the poor treatment they would get from traditional car dealerships. Their research, which highlighted that more than three quarters of women had their cars chosen for them and that almost at almost half considered colour the most important factor, concluded that women know exactly what they want. "So we aim to find the perfect car, and take away the time, hassle and often fear when choosing."
