South Bucks Hospice has relaunched its online eBay shop and needs help from volunteers to run it

The shop sells a wide range of collectibles, electronics, jewellery and clothing - with all the profits being ploughed back into patient care at the Hospice.

Leanne Cooper, the Hospice’s E-commerce Trading Manager, said: “The advantage of creating a new eBay store is that people can help our charity and purchase some really interesting items all from the comfort of their homes. There are currently some vintage film cameras on sale that may really catch the imagination of some buyers.

“We know, however, that the internet is not for everybody, so that’s why we also have five traditional retail shops in towns around the South Bucks area. But eBay provides the public with a different and perhaps more convenient option.”

Leanne added: “It’s worth people noting that when they list on eBay as a private seller, they can choose to donate a percentage of the sale to South Bucks Hospice.

“So every time you list an item and choose to donate to us, you’ll get a free credit. For example, if you donate 50% of your selling price to South Bucks Hospice, eBay will waive 50% of your fees.”
