Horizon Sports Club receives High Wycombe Community Project Award from MPS & BBI International

Online communication and marketing specialists MPS & BBI International announced that their High Wycombe Community Project Award has been won by Horizon Sports Club.

This invaluable local charity gives disabled and special needs children and young people the opportunity to discover the pleasures of sport. The award is for 5,000 worth of website design, marketing and communication services provided by MPS & BBI.

Horizon is well established in the Wycombe area and offers sensitive professional coaching to teach new skills to children who attend their sessions in their chosen areas of interest, whether gymnastics, swimming, tennis, indoor athletics or youth football. It provides the chance to build on personal achievements, get together with other children and have fun too.

Anita Templar of Horizon explained that they were looking to increase awareness locally for parents who had children who could benefit, as well as attracting young adults and students as potential coaches and generate sponsorship from local businesses. We are thrilled to have been chosen for this award of professional communication support from MPS & BBI, which will help us push forward with our objectives, she said.

The charity was nominated by High Wycombe based video production company Take One Business Communications. Take Ones Karen Pawlowska said: This charity provides an essential path for the development of these children which enables them to be included in the community and to add value to the community too. Professional web and communication services provided by an experienced local company like MPS & BBI could be a real boost for them.

MPS & BBI International will be designing a new Horizon website in cooperation with Keith Arnold of RMPnet, a father of one of the children that attends Horizon, who will be hosting and building the site. Andrew Libra, MD of MPS & BBI International commented: This project is bringing together local businesses to promote an exceptionally good cause. We are very excited about working with Horizon and believe we can really help them in achieving their goals.
