Four inspirational women in the fields of sport, business, the arts and in the community have just launched the Sue Ryder Care - Nettlebed Women of Achievement Awards
Successful businesswoman Robyn Jones, Olympic rower Debbie Flood, fitness guru and TV personality Lizzie Webb and author Tania Crosse joined forces to pose for this striking image taken by Charlotte Snowden to declare the awards open for nominations.
Launched in 2007, the annual awards recognise and celebrate successful women living in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire who have excelled in life or business, with all money raised going directly to help Sue Ryder Care Nettlebed Hospice. Last years awards raised 36,000 for the hospice.
Women can be nominated in any of the following four categories; Community, Corporate, Creative and Sport. And, once again, a special Sue Ryder Care Lifetime Achievement Award will be awarded to an overall winner chosen from short listed nominees. The closing date for nominations is September 10, 2010 and the winners will be announced at a glittering dinner at the Hilton Hotel in Reading on October 14.
