The annual Charity Golf Day organised by the Rotary Club of Ascot at the Royal Ascot Golf Club attracted 18 teams who raised over £10,000.

A gala charity dinner and auction took followed where prize-winners received their awards.

The main beneficiary this year was the Children With Special Needs Foundation which provides support to children in the East Berkshire, North Surrey and East Hampshire area.

Main sponsor was Eiffel UK.

Winners of the 18 hole competition were The Flying Accountants (I Ruddick, B Grant, P Moore, N Tetcher), pictured.

Runners UP were ETEACH (P Howells, G Clarke, D Giblin, D Rennie) and third place went to The Rag Pack (B Payne, B Kirkwood, B Sheppard, J Sheppard). Joint winners of the 9 hole competition were Eiffel 2 and Eiffel 3.

David Rennie of ETEACH produced the longest drive, while Richard Light of Deloitte was nearest the pin. Rod Kirton won the putting contest, with Tony Serrard in second place.

Chairman of the organising committee, Rotarian Colin Corio, said: "It has been a really successful day. The teams and our main sponsor have been very pleased with the new venue, and it looks like we have reached a very satisfactory financial result."
