Jacobs of Reading has been voted ‘Independent Retailer of the Year’ at the 2015 Reading Retail Awards.

Judges praised Jacobs for its high quality entry, highlighting its personal and high levels of customer service. The family-run Berkshire jeweller was also a finalist in the ‘Best Promotional Initiative’ category. The awards promote outstanding retailing and service in the Reading area.

Adam Jacobs, Owner, said: “We’re delighted to have been recognised in this way. The Jacobs team and customers are brilliant, they deserve this enormous thank you!”

Jacobs’ entry communicated their wide skillset: an internationally sourced selection of watches and jewellery, a passionate and dedicated approach to working at the highest service levels with customers, a wide range of new marketing initiatives, increased levels of staff training, deep community and charity engagement as well as a commitment to the wider jewellery industry in the UK.
