Leisure centre staff track down stolen phones

Members of Loddon Valley Leisure Centre in Wokingham have had their stolen mobile phones recovered thanks to a group of young lifeguards at the leisure centre who used their iPhone knowledge to track down the stolen phones.

Tom Dune, Laura Mortimer and Rachael Daniel, pictured, are being congratulated by the centre for their fast thinking after they used the iPhone Finder application, which saw them find the two stolen phones within two hours of them going missing.

Tony Penge, Contract Manager at Loddon Valley Leisure Centre, said: Were very proud of Tom, Laura and Rachael for reacting so quickly and saving the day. We take theft at the leisure centre very seriously and have increased changing rooms inspections since the incident. We hope having fast-thinking staff will encourage our members to feel confident and safe when they visit us.
