Nanette Newman dropped into the newly-refurbished Thames Valley Hospicecare shop in Sunninghill High Street recently to declare it officially open after it's major facelift...

TVH has to raise 80 per cent of the £5 million needed each year to keep it running and its shops in Windsor, Maidenhead and Sunninghill make a major contribution.

"I do hope people will drop in regularly to buy some of the great things they have on offer,"

said Nanette, who lives in Virginia Water, and who was accompanied by her husband the actor, director and writer Brian Forbes. She added:

"I shall be bringing in some of my books of children's sayings to sell."
