Networking clubs and groups have been flourishing and no wonder...

They provide local business and professional women with the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas and knowledge, hear speakers, and usually have lunch. Whether you're just starting up or already running a business, networking meetings offer support and encouragement, give members the chance to promote their business and gain clients, and are great for making new friends.

Each month we will focus on what they're doing and provide a diary of events. If you would like to send us your group/club news, please email

New group for Maidenhead/Windsor
The third group of The Women's Networking Company in Berkshire opened in Maidenhead and Windsor as we hit the news-stands. The launch comes shortly after the successful launch of the Newbury and Reading groups in June.

Founded by Kelly Stevens, the network holds events and meetings on a monthly basis, and the Windsor and Maidenhead group has two categories of membership, Premier Club, which meets for monthly lunches and accepts only one member per profession, and the Women's Business Club which does not have any restrictions on membership.

The next Business Club will meet on October 22 at the Holiday Inn, Maidenhead, when the guest speaker will be Christine Clarkin of the Rolls-Royce dealership in Sunningdale.
