The historic town of Buckingham is an ideal place for shopping, whether you're after a new kitchen or a Christmas present for that special someone, says Katy Eachus

Buckingham is a delightful market town with many interesting small shops, providing a refreshing alternative to the soulless malls found in so many towns these days. Craft and antique shops can be found alongside florists, jewellers, food and gift-shops. Most are within walking distance of one another, in the roads around the picturesque Market Hill with its Old Gaol museum. There are plenty of options for eating and drinking too. Parking is easy and reasonably priced, with a 300-space car park, free for the first hour, next to the river, which is a pleasant area for walks and picnics.

Theres nothing like the run-up to Christmas to expose the weaknesses in your current kitchen. If youve decided enough is enough, Buckingham Kitchens will help you create the kitchen of your dreams. From hand painted solid wood to high gloss state of the art looks, there is a style to suit every home. With over 24 years of experience in the kitchen industry, this company offers one of the largest selections of top quality fitted kitchen furniture in the UK together with all the latest worktops and appliances.
