The diamond-encrusted trophy worth £50,000 on offer at the Boodles tennis event at Stoke Park this year went to Robin Haase.
He defeated Germany’s Jan Lennard-Struff in a final which needed a lengthy last set to eventually separate them. It also took a final set which reached 11-9 before British brothers Ken and Neal Skupski were defeated by Freddie Nielsen and Johan Brunstrom in a highly entertaining doubles match.
Of course, it’s not just about the tennis at Boodles. Those lucky enough to have tickets enjoyed glorious sunshine and all the treats Stoke Park can offer.
