Women were toasting both horseracing and football at Royal Windsor Racecourse’s Monday night season finale.

Women in Racing, the network supporting the careers of women within horseracing, joined forces with their equivalent in football, Women in Football, to hold their first race night.

Sally Rowley-Williams, Chair of Women in Racing said: “We are delighted to have joined up with Women in Football. Sport as a whole has so many synergies, especially football and horseracing, which are the most popular sports in the country. It has been great to share ideas on how we can develop and support female talent within our respective industries.

“The atmosphere has been really lively, with some guests enjoying their first visit to the races and we look forward to working with Women in Football again in the future.”
