In a move to reduce the costs, labour and environmental impact of using bottle-fed water coolers, the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency (PASA) has selected Bracknell company, Tana Water UK, to supply government institutions with mains-fed water machines.

The machines chill and filter tap water and treat it with ultraviolet light to kill bugs such as MRSA, C-difficile, cryptosporidium and legionella.

The firm has also just landed a major contract to supply Henley Management College with mains-fed water in all conference and training rooms.
