The inaugural British Jewellery Week will see high-quality jewellery retailers holding two-week selling exhibitions across the UK from 16th June 2010.

British Jewellery Week aims to showcase excellence in British creative jewellery design, promoting and supporting the new, young wave of talent and celebrating what makes their work so exciting and unique. Three young ambassadors who represent the very best in upcoming British jewellery design Tomasz Donocik, Lauren Adriana and Jasmine Alexander, will front it.

British Jewellery Week 2010 will launch at jewellery retailer Furr & Company in Hungerford, Berkshire on Wednesday, 16th June, before a national tour to other high-quality jewellery stores and boutiques across the country. The selling exhibitions will give customers the chance to see and buy jewellery from the most exciting and contemporary designers in the UK.

Furr & Companys directors are Greg and Rachel Furr. Their 18th century shop in the pretty market town of Hungerford in West Berkshire provides the perfect backdrop for their style of jewellery a happy mix of the classical with the ultra-modern, the best of traditional goldsmithing skills coupled with the refinement of style that modern techniques make possible. Their jewellery is sourced from a select group of designers chosen to complement their own in-house collections.

Rachel Furr says: Furr & Company are thrilled to be able to present such a wealth of talent, from young designers just starting out to some of our most distinguished and eminent names. What a stunning choice of skills, techniques and beautiful jewellery to admire a chance not to be missed!
