Maureen McLean hears the words of wisdom from Clarins experts at Fenwick Windsor
Ladies attending a Clarins Beauty Party at Fenwick Windsor were eager to see and hear some fascinating beauty tips from Clarins Beauty Presenter Amy Lancaster. The wine and nibbles went down a treat too! For all us shopaholics, imagine the heaven of being locked into Fenwick Windsor for the evening!
We had a chance to sample Clarins skincare products and were given tips on how to use them properly, including the importance of exfoliating your skin, which means Clarins products can be up to 65% more effective. Clarins is the number one in Luxury Skincare brands in Europe. All Clarins products contain natural botanicals and other ingredients.
The ladies all got to try some of the Clarins Double Serum (R) Complete Age Control Concentrate, so popular that a purchase is made every 30 seconds.
There were also some very useful demonstrations on how to apply eye cream, neck cream (not forgetting the back of your neck!), eye liner and blusher properly.
Guests enjoyed watching a makeover on model Carol Fletcher by Clarins Beauty Specialist Sophie Parsons. Sophie used a pink tone eye shadow that helps to brighten the eye area. We learnt that the key to using Wonder Perfect Mascara properly is to brush it across rather than down the eyelashes. Using the Clarins Eyebrow Pencil really helped to define Carol’s eyes. Sophie used BB Skin Perfecting Cream with a foundation brush to give a light and natural glow to Carol’s skin and topped it off with one of the new pink Cream Blush colours. The finishing touch was a subtle Lip Definer and glossy Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector. We all agreed Carol looked very glam and felt much more confident with how to apply make up more professionally.
Clarins kindly donated three raffle prizes of big boxes of goodies. Over £200 was raised for local charities Limbcare, Furze Platt Senior School Greenpower project and Berks East & South Bucks Women’s Aid.
The guests were also able to book up for a free mini treatment or make up in the Clarins Redroom throughout March.
